Cerebrum

The major outer part of the brain.


It is divided into two hemispheres:
Left hemisphere: controls the right side of
the body
Right hemisphere: controls the left side of
the body.
Corpus callosum- it connects the two
hemispheres
Lobes of the brain
Frontal lobe: Responsible for cognitive
functions and movement
Parietal lobe: Responsible for processing
touch, pain, temperature and movement
Temporal lobe: Responsible for speech,
hearing and memory
Occipital lobe: Responsible for vision and
helps in color orientation.
