Software to create live/Bootable USB
• RUFUS
• https://rufus.ie/

• The Rufus USB Installer is free, open-source software that lets you
ultimately take the ISO installer and create the bootable USB Ubuntu
installer.
Steps:
• Format a USB drive
• Launch Rufus
• Select the name of the USB storage drive you just formatted.
• Click the Partition Scheme and Target System Type
• Select "MBR partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI.“
• Choose the File System drop-down, and then click "FAT32 (Default).“
• Click "Start" the Rufus USB Installer begins creating the LIVE USB
drive.
Steps:
• Click "Close" when Rufus is completed
• Connect the USB drive to the computer you want to install Ubuntu
• Press a specific key or combination of keys to change Boot sequence
(Boot from USB)
• Again Restart and Try Ubuntu
Creating Users in Ubuntu
• Click Unlock on the top right corner and enter your administrative
password.
• Select whether you wish to create Standard or Administrator account
• From here select New User , fill in all required user information
• Click on Users and Groups icon and enter your administrative
password
Creating Users in Windows
• Choose Start → Control Panel and in the resulting window, click the
Add or Remove User Accounts link.
• Click Create a New Account.
• Enter an account name and then select the type of account you want
to create.
• Click the Create Account button and then close the Control Panel.
