cognitive load, resulting in deficits in attention, working memory, and decision-
making.
• The Circadian Rhythm and Academic Performance Theory (Young, Jeffrey C. Hall
2017) posits that academic performance is influenced by the alignment of individual
circadian rhythms with daily learning schedules.
