 Aims of the project
• This project shows the ways to optimize Health services in Kurdistan as a developing region.
• The primary goal of this project is to create and evaluate a digital platform meant to educate
patients about health-related issues and empower them to make educated health decisions.
• Also, it aims to facilitate finding doctor’s contact details and location through QR code and
GPS.
• Another goal is to alert the platform visitors with seasonal or disbanded diseases with
treatments and ways to prevent it.
• Additionally, by considering Kurdistan’s economy, this platform aims to help people by
saving cost and time by introducing clear scientifically supported information beside
professional doctors and clinics.
 The Statement of Problems
• Time-consuming: it takes too much time to find a certain doctor.
• Too costly: a patient may need to spend money to find some information about his/her
symptoms and pay money to find a doctor.
• Difficulty in finding accurate information: It is difficult for the patient to find the right
information about doctors.
• Burdensome to get specified educational health-related platforms: Kurdistan doesn’t have any
digital health-related platform to gather all information's about doctors and hospitals.
 The Existed Solution
• In research (Potential advantages and disadvantages of telemedicine) By (Lie Rebecca, Gilbert Sterling ) in (2021),
shows the necessity of optimizing health services in developing countries such as Indonesia by collaborating with
other sectors that can support the health system including science and technology.
• In research (Pros and cons of telemedicine in diagnosis and management) By (Heba, Aliae, Hoda, Nahed, Hadeer,
Rehab, Abdelhakeem) in (2022), Navigates the pros of telemedicine in different sectors for example, saving
patients time, cost and helping patients of remote areas.
• In research (Growing importance of patient engagement in health) by (Balagopal Ramdurai) in (2020), investigates
and insures the importance of and focus on patient engagement, admitting that patients have an important role
to play in their own health care. This includes reading, understanding and acting on health information
(health literacy).
• n research (The Use of Internet and Social Media for Health Information and Its Consequences Among the
Population in Saudi Arabia) by (Sarah, Afnan, Raghad) in (2021), shows that health information that is sought from
the Internet and social media platforms has a great impact on the population emphasizing the need for credible
information sources and how to access them.
 The Proposed Solution
• Time management: Since the platform is always available, patients can easily find a
professional doctor and clinic suitable for his/her case through QI and contact them.
• Costless: patients can get their health-related information and find a suitable doctor for their
case online for free.
• Reliable information: Clinics and doctor contact numbers or location changes with this
platform patients can easily find updated information.
• UpToDate platform: this platform aims to educate patients and people generally on up-to-date
healthcare information.
Programming Tools
HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and JavaScript are
the three primary languages used to build the front end of a website.
HTML is used to structure the content.
CSS is used to style the content.
JavaScript is used to add interactivity and functionality to the web page.
