Year 8 Homework Due in Monday 20th March

6 weeks to complete 3 tasks:


Research a current affairs topic from the news or online that interests you (use our list of ideas below if
needed or choose your own)

1. Find and read 2 different news articles which present a strong viewpoint on your
chosen topic (try and find different/opposite viewpoints if you can)
2. Write the text for a blog which states your view on this topic. Use images and
consider your layout to engage your online audience.
