conflicts. Peter Pan himself is a figure who refuses to grow up, leading the children who come to Neverland to remain immortal.
Meanwhile, Wendy and her siblings face challenges and dangers, including the threat of Captain Hook, who has a grudge against
Peter Pan.
Climax and resolution
The tension reaches its peak when Peter Pan and his friends, including Wendy and her siblings, face Captain Hook in the
final battle in Neverland. These confrontations not only test their courage and readiness to grow, but also raise questions
about the cost of childhood defeats and the courage to face adult challenges.
The resolution of the film "Peter Pan" (2003) is that after defeating Captain Hook, Peter Pan and his friends realize that
growing up brings challenges, but also opportunities to build relationships and face life with courage. Even though they
leave Neverland, they take home valuable lessons about growth and responsibility.
The message
The message of the film "Peter Pan" (2003) is
about the importance of growing up and facing
life's challenges with courage, while still holding
on to the magic and memories of childhood in our
hearts.
Review film
The production itself is beautiful, albeit stylized. The filmmakers do
not mask that neverland is a fantasy world, and it stays that from
beginning to end. Every frame in this movie is beautiful. There are
some moments that are literally breathtaking.
Ultimately what makes this film excellent is that it tells a story. And
this story is centered on Wendy, and the boy of her dreams: Peter
Pan. Except he cannot be the man of her dreams, and that is truly
tragic. Captain Hook is the opposite: a man who cannot be young. A
man who is "old, alone, and done-for" according to Pan. We end up
exploring Wendy's psyche throughout the film, and it is almost
perfectly achieved.
Communicati
on Theory
In the film Peter Pan (2003), there are several communication
theories that may be applied. One of them is semiotic theory,
which highlights the use of symbols and hidden messages through
visual and narrative elements in films. The film uses symbols such
as watches, shadows, and places like Neverland to convey
messages about growth, loss, and eternity. Reception theory is
also relevant here, because the influence of how the audience
interprets and responds to the story and characters presented in
this film is also an important part of the communication process.
Scenes that highlight the
phenomenon of
Non-verbal communication The scene where Wendy wants to kiss Peter Pan
communication
on the first day they meet makes Tinkerbell jealous and flies towards Wendy
and pulls her hair, Peter Pan catches Tinkerbell and throws her on a pillow,
because the fairies in this film can't talk, then Tinkerbell conveys her jealousy
and annoyance through Sign language interpreted by Peter Pan to Wendy
"She's not very polite" "She said if you try to give me a thimble (kiss) again"
"She kill you"
