The Bank has a large footprint of 5000 domestic branches (including extension counters) with
15,751 ATMs & cash recyclers spread across the country.
The Bank has 6 Axis Virtual Centres with over 1,500 Virtual Relationship Managers as on 31st
March 2023.

The Bank was promoted in 1993, jointly by Specified Undertaking of Unit Trust of India (SUUTI)
(then known as Unit Trust of India), Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), General Insurance
Corporation of India (GIC), National Insurance Company Ltd., The New India Assurance Company
Ltd., The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd., and United India Insurance Company Ltd

STUDENT’S ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Intern assists new and existing clients of the Bank with account
transactions and uncovers opportunities that can help improve clients Financial
Wellness. In addition, we acts as a resource in identifying and resolving client
servicing issues. The Retail Intern is a part of the branch team and through
conversations with the clients uncovers financial needs, communicates
opportunities and transitions clients to the branch relationship management team.

• Helping the customers with their queries.
• Give leads of Personal loan, Home loan, Auto loan & Business loan.
• Aware customers regarding Axis bank offers.
FINDINGS
• Customers were satisfied from the quick response and good customer
relationship.
• Customer found employees of Axis bank very helpful and cooperative.
• Customer are more influenced for taking loan and other retail product
from Axis Bank because of trust, customers have on Bank.
• Customer found the procedure of availing retail product is simple and
hassle free.
LEARNINGS
• Calling the customer who needs KYC verification of high priority also I visited to customer
house for KYC verification.
• Calling customers regarding the preapproved home loan offer which are eligible in their account
and confirming them.
• Calling Customers regarding fundings in their account offers, calling current account Customers
for the maintenance appropriate funds in their account.
• Open Demat account with mobile and learn the process of the opening Demat account. What
are the subscription of the Demat account.
• Calling customers regarding on the personal loan data and managing the lobby helping the
customers regarding there queries
• Learn about CRM (Customer relationship Management), How kyc is done with tab and with
through the papers, What are the documents required regarding the kyc verification process.
CONCLUSION
• Axis Bank is providing good services to the clients during sanctioning the loan and
other retail product.
• They cooperate with the clients to given maximum benefits.
• Different banks offer same product but services only aspect, which differentiate banks
products.
• Services through corporate banking, personal banking Axis Bank reaches among the
maximum number of customers among private banks among the country and More
than average number of customers were found satisfied by the offered services of
AXIS BANK.
