About the
Organization
Indian School Finance Company
• ISFC is a Non-Banking Finance Company engaged in the business of lending to
educational institutions and entrepreneurs managing such institutions. The company
started its operations in December 2008 from Hyderabad and has expanded since to
other cities and states of India. The company is widely recognized and appreciated in
the education segment for its impact on schools and focus on improvement in
quality of education.
• The objective of ISFC is to assist the Schools and other education institutions in
capacity building through infrastructure improvements, thereby enabling students to
access quality education.
• ISFC are proud to be the first company in the world to exclusively fund education
institutions. Earlier these institutions, especially affordable private schools were
facing challenges to get funding from the formal financial sector, as a result the
requirements were met either by borrowing from unorganized market at higher cost
or these projects were delayed/shelved till accumulations from internal accruals.
Now with ISFC funding, these institutions can undertake their projects as planned
without delays.

Conclusion

• I learned more during my Training at ISFC than I ever could have anticipated. I felt that my
responsibilities were varied and ever-changing. Even though it might be difficult at times to remember all
I have learnt over the previous few months, I believe that these are some of the most useful lessons I have
picked up. I was not sure what to anticipate from this in an office setting. It gave me advice on how to
conduct yourself at work. I have been prepared just by working at the office and getting used to
everything here. I have learned more about collaboration and how individuals may work together to
accomplish goals by just witnessing daily activities. Although I occasionally must remind myself to speak
quietly, I believe I have acclimated to office life very well. My abilities have significantly increased as a
result of my I Am training, which provided both practical and academic learning opportunities.
Thank You!
