Objective for the year

• Focus on the Nisab understanding for the Associate Member (to


be Members)
• Formation of the single study circle topics for whole iCAN.
• Members tarbiyah session
• Nisab understanding session for the Volunteers (to be associate
members).
• Creation of the Learning portal for the iCAN team members.
• Focus on the Nisab understanding for the Associate Member (to be Members)
• Selected Associate Members get involved in the sessions
• 13 sessions organised on the fortnightly basis.
• Cover Tehreek aur Karkun in discussion style - the objective was to transfer the
concept from the Book to the participants.
• Covered the full iCAN constitution.
• Personal follow up with the participants for the completion of Nisab giving them target and
follow up.
• Formation of the single study circle topics for whole iCAN.
• Centralised Study circle topics created for the halaqas.
• Study circle topics created for the Members also.

Details:
AMs Tarbiyah Session begun from September’21 with special
presentation on “ Leadership Workshop” followed by
discussions of books from the ICAN members nisaab.
Australia-wide Ramadan Special Sessions

• Welcome Ramadan sessions happened on site in each


halqa and also online.
• Dora-e-Quran started from March and continued until April.
• Special Shab-E-Dari was held on site and online in each
halqa (depending on their preferences).

• Excursion to Hijab Business – Girls visited Sr Malissa’s

• Cup Cake decoration – Learn how to decorate cupcake.

• Mum & daughter Day out – There was a discussion at
the Royal Botanic Gardens of Victoria on how to
productively spend your Ramadan. (onsite)
• Basic Sewing Lesson- Girls were taught the techniques of
sewing. (onsite)

Media and IT – Major tasks accomplished:

MS office and teams:


• Moved to Microsoft from Google for Emails and MS Team Services.
• Launched shared Mailboxes for departments / offices for better data sharing and hand
overs.

Websites:
• New iCANDawah WordPress website was launched.
• YMNA Website was launched.
• Moved all three websites (iCANDawah, GainPeace and YMNA) iCAN’s MS Azure servers.
• Supported iCAN College website launch, (Special thanks to Ali Zafar bhai for taking a lead
on this).
Media and IT – Major tasks accomplished:

Process automation:
• Developed online approval processes for Volunteers, AMs and Members to better log the
data and remove the manual paperwork.

iCAN Relief and trust setup:


• iCANRelief NFP setup completed as independent organisation under Microsoft
Subscription.
• Moved iCANRelief data from iCANDawah servers to its own servers.
• Supported iCANRelief WordPress website launch.
• iCANTrust NFP setup completed as independent organisation under Microsoft
Subscription.
• Moved iCANTrust data from iCANDawah servers to its own servers.
