OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

To implement a system whose main purpose is to solve the

problem of selection of crop for the conditions of an agricultural
land. And also to recommend the right fertilizer for better yield &
efficiently manage the monitored area with the help of sensors,
microprocessors and machine learning algorithms.

PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
Micro-controllers
& Sensors Data Collection
(Arduino Uno, ML Algorithms Application
(Crop data &
NPK, Soil Interface
Fertilizer data)
Moisture)
A collection of sensors are interconnected and used to create a node for getting the soil
condition data readings.

Along with this data about soil and weather conditions are obtained from external sources
or taken manually as a data-sheet.

The data collected are used to train the algorithm and further build the accuracy.
The result is then stored in a cloud server as a data bank.

The input from the user is used to select the most suitable crop for the soil conditions of the
land and then the result is sent to an application interface from where the user can check
the result.

This result shows the crop yield rate of selected crop for the soil condition present and
fertilizer recommendation for the lacking land nutrient.

CONCLUSION

After various surveys, reviews and analysis we can conclude that the use
of machine learning algorithms will not only help farmers to get better
results but also increase their revenue which for many is a matter of life
and death. Currently farmers make rough estimations based on their
previous experiences and plans. Using ML instead will definitely decrease
the margin of error and provide better outputs. The proper growth can be
done using correct usage of fertilizer recommended by the system. The
system will work to provide suggestions, so the final call is still left for the
user and after some successful validations of data, will provide near
perfect results.
