Lessons learned for SCRP

• There is a need to increase the understanding and engagement at senior management level within the target
Universities. More support is needed for the lab teams from within their institutions.

• Better communication and awareness and challenges is needed with senior management within the institution.
This could help to solve problems quicker. It would be good to provide a brief overview of status/ achievements /
next steps on a regular basis to senior management.

• Support is needed for labs to get proper accreditation and licencing information as well as accounting informations
regarding the utilization of public infrastructure in economic contracts

• More coaching is needed on the market strategies and business planning, including preparation of NDIs and
standard contracts. More coaching is needed to help labs prepare business plans

• Coaching is needed to prepare presentation and promotion events; the teams respond very well to close working
relationship with the coaching team
