• Political Organization includes political
institutions, political parties, political groups.
• Political organizations are engaged in
political activities aimed at achieving clearly
defined political goals, which improved
political system, benefits the interests of its
members.

Bands
• Bands are societies that are composed of
fairly small and nomadic group of people.
• In a band, the local group or community is
the largest group that acts as political unit.

•It is a combination of smaller kin or non-
kin groups, linked by a common culture,
that usually act as one.
•Usually bigger than bands and are
primarily food producers.
