The circulatory system

BY HANIYA AND REEYA

What are the parts of circulatory system ?

1.Blood
2. Heart
3.Blood vessels
4.Arteries
5.Capillaries
6.Viens
What is blood ?

Blood is a specialized body fluid . It has

four main components plasma,red blood
cells,white blood cells, and platelets.blood
has many different functions
including ,transporting oxygen and nutrients
to the lungs and tissues.forming blood clots
to prevent excess blood loss.
What are upper chamber and lower chambers in the heart?
A typical heart has two upper and two lower chambers.
The upper chambers, the right and left atria, receive
incoming blood. The lower chambers, the more
muscular right and left ventricles, pump blood out of the
heart. The heart valves, which keep blood flowing in the
right direction, are gates at the chamber openings.
what are blood vessels?

A tube through which the blood circulates in the body.

Blood vessels include a network of arteries, arterioles,
capillaries, venules, and veins.
What are arteries?

Arteries distribute oxygen-rich blood to your body.

Arteries, part of your circulatory (cardiovascular)
system, are the blood vessels that bring oxygen-rich
blood from your heart to all of your body's cells. They
play a crucial role in distributing oxygen, nutrients and
hormones throughout your body.
What are capillaries?

Capillaries are delicate blood vessels that exist throughout your

body. They transport blood, nutrients and oxygen to cells in
your organs and body systems. Capillaries are the smallest
blood vessels in your vascular system.
What are veins?

Veins are blood vessels that carry oxygen-poor

blood to your heart. Pulmonary veins are an
exception because they carry oxygen-rich blood
from your lungs to your heart. Veins in your legs
fight gravity to push blood up toward your heart.
Importants note of circulatory system?

The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that

carry blood away from and towards the heart. Arteries
carry blood away from the heart and veins carry blood
back to the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen,
nutrients, and hormones to cells, and removes waste
products, like carbon dioxide.
