Budget and finance

Cheyanne Bazemore
How does American federalism
distribute, share, and limit power and
responsibility of budgets and finances?

 “Federalism is the system of government in which power

is divided between a central government and regional
governments; in the United States, both the national
government and the state governments possess a large
measure of sovereignty.”(Federalism and the separation of
powers, author unknown) this is the definition of federalism. The
power is dived between in the united states case national
government and state government. The government is mainly
controlled by the state's government, the only time the national
government has control is when it is needed as it says here, “In
addition to the expressed powers of the national
government, the “necessary and proper” clause provided an
avenue for expansion into the realm of “implied
powers.”(Federalism and the separation of powers, author
unknown).
