AS THE DEER
Song of Preparation
As the deer panteth for the
water
So my soul longeth after
Thee
You alone are my heart's
desire
And I long to worship Thee
You alone are my strength,
my shield
To You alone may my spirit
yield
You alone are my heart's
desire
And I long to worship Thee
You're my friend
And You are my brother
Even though You are a King
I love You more than any
other
So much more than anything
You alone are my strength,
my shield
To You alone may my spirit
yield
You alone are my heart's
desire
And I long to worship Thee
Call to Worship
Give thanks to the Lord,
for he is good.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.

VICTORY IN
JESUS
Opening Hymn
I heard an old, old story how
a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on
Calvary to save a wretch like
me;
I heard about His groaning,
of His precious blood’s
atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
and won the victory
O victory in Jesus, my
Savior, forever!
He sought me and bought me
with His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him,
and all my love is due Him.
He plunged me to victory
beneath the cleansing flood
I heard about His healing, of
His cleansing pow’r
revealing
How he made the lame to
walk again and caused the
blind to see;
And then I cried, “Dear
Jesus, come and heal my
broken spirit,”
And some sweet day I’ll sing
up there the song of victory.
O victory in Jesus, my
Savior, forever!
He sought me and bought me
with His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him,
and all my love is due Him.
He plunged me to victory
beneath the cleansing flood
I heard about a mansion he
has built for me in glory,
And I heard about the streets
of gold beyond the crystal
sea;
About the angels singing and
the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I’ll sing
up there the song of victory.
O victory in Jesus, my
Savior, forever!
He sought me and bought me
with His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him,
and all my love is due Him.
He plunged me to victory
beneath the cleansing flood

You are my strength when
I am weak
You are the treasure that
I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious
jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Taking my sin, my cross, my
shame
Rising up again I bless Your
name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick
me up
When I am dry You fill my
cup
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name

HOSANNA
I see the King of Glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes,
the whole earth shakes,
I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people
sing
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith, with selfless
faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees, we're on our
knees
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Heal my heart and
make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things
unseen
Show me how to love like You
have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks
Yours
Everything I am for Your
kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into
eternity
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
SCRIPTURE
READINGS
Responsive Reading
Luke 12:13-21
Liturgist: Someone in
the crowd said to him,
“Teacher, tell my
brother to divide the
inheritance with me.”
Congregation: Jesus
replied, “Man, who
appointed me a judge or
an arbiter between
you?”
Liturgist: Then he said to
them, “Watch out! Be on
your guard against all kinds
of greed; life does not
consist in an abundance of
possessions.”
Congregation: And he told
them this parable: “The
ground of a certain rich
man yielded an abundant
harvest.
Liturgist: He thought to
himself, ‘What shall I do? I
have no place to store my
crops.’
Congregation: “Then he
said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I
will tear down my barns
and build bigger ones, and
there I will store my surplus
grain.
Liturgist: And I’ll say to
myself, “You have plenty of
grain laid up for many
years. Take life easy; eat,
drink and be merry.”’
Congregation: “But God said
to him, ‘You fool! This very
night your life will be
demanded from you. Then
who will get what you have
prepared for yourself?’
All: “This is how it will be
with whoever stores up
things for themselves but
is not rich toward God.”
Second Reading
Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to
receive glory and honour and
power: for thou hast created
all things, and for thy pleasure
they are and were created.
Response:
To God be the
Glory
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice,
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
O come to the Father
through Jesus the Son
and Give him the Glory
great things He has done
THE MESSAGE
OF LIFE
THE MESSAGE
OF SONG
The Affirmation of the
Christian Faith
Leader: Where the spirit of
the Lord is, there is the
One True Church, apostolic
and Universal, whose holy
faith we shall now declare.
I believe in God, the Father
Almighty, maker of heaven
and earth. And in Jesus
Christ, his only Son, our
Lord
Who was conceived by the
holy spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontious Pilate, was
crucified, dead, and buried.
The third day he rose
from the dead, he
ascended into heaven, and
sitteth at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty
From thence he shall
come to judge the quick
and the dead. I believe in
the Holy Spirit, the Holy
universal church
The communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting,
Amen.
OFFERTORY
Praise God, from whom all
blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here
below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly
host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost!
Living for Jesus
CLOSING HYMN
Living for Jesus a life that
is true;
striving to please him in all
that I do,
yielding allegiance,
gladhearted and free,
this is the pathway of
blessing for me.
O Jesus, Lord and Savior,
I give myself to thee;
for thou, in thy atonement,
didst give thyself for me;
I own no other master,
my heart shall be thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live,
O Christ for thee alone.
Living for Jesus who died
in my place,
bearing on Calvary my sin
and disgrace
such love constrains me to
answer his call,
follow his leading and give
him my all
O Jesus, Lord and Savior,
I give myself to thee;
for thou, in thy atonement,
didst give thyself for me;
I own no other master,
my heart shall be thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live,
O Christ for thee alone.
Living for Jesus wherever I
am,
doing each duty in his holy
hame,
willing to suffer affliction
or loss,
deeming each trial a part of
my cross.
O Jesus, Lord and Savior,
I give myself to thee;
for thou, in thy atonement,
didst give thyself for me;
I own no other master,
my heart shall be thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live,
O Christ for thee alone.
PRAYER OF
DEDICATION
Living for Jesus through
earth's little while,
my dearest treasure, the
light of his smile,
seeking the lost ones he
died to redeem,
bringing the weary to find
rest in him.
O Jesus, Lord and Savior,
I give myself to thee;
for thou, in thy atonement,
didst give thyself for me;
I own no other master,
my heart shall be thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live,
O Christ for thee alone.
