WHAT IS LEVELS OF CURRICULUM?

-Refers to the degree of


remoteness from students for
whom the curricula where planed.
SOCIETAL

- The farthest from the learners since this is where the public stockholders
participate in identifying the goals, the topics to be studied, time to be spent
in teaching learning and materials to aid instruction.
- Farthest removed from learners.
- Is designed by the public, including politicians, representatives of special
interests groups, administrators of different levels and professionals
specialist.
INSTITUTIONAL
- Refers to the curriculum derived from the societal level with modification
by local educators or a people; often organized according to subjects and
includes topics and themes to be studied, may also include standards,
philosophies, lesson plans and teaching guides.
- Serves school and are derived target/ from societal curricula
- With modifications by local educators and a persons.
INSRUCTIONAL
- Refers how teachers use the curriculum developed in
societal level and modified in the instructional level or
what authorities have determined, involves the teachers
instructional strategies styles and material used.
- One that teachers plans and deliver in schools.
EXPERIENTIAL

- The curriculum perceived and experienced by


each students and many, therefore vary among
lessons because of individual differences.
- One perceived an experience by students.
MODELS
OF
CURRICULUM
Curriculum model- is a broad term
referring to the guide used to write
curriculum guides, or the documents
used in education to determine specific
aspects of teaching, such as subjects,
time frame, and manner of instruction.
