Based Science Education (or IBSE) is a
form of science education that gives the
student the opportunity to explore a
subject/topic through hands-on activities,
investigation and posing of questions. It is
designed to reflect how students actually
learn, and engages students in the process
of scientific inquiry.

1ST Emphasize curiosity and questioning: Science begins with curiosity.
Cultivate a mindset of asking questions about the natural world
around you.

2ND Develop critical thinking skills: Science requires critical thinking to


evaluate evidence, analyze data, and draw logical conclusions.

3rd Learn the scientific method: Familiarize yourself with the scientific
method, a systematic approach to conducting scientific
investigations

4th Engage in hands-on experiments: Actively participating in experiments


allows you to experience the scientific process firsthand.
5th Collaborate with others: Science is often a collaborative
endeavor. Collaborative projects and group experiments can
enhance your understanding of scientific concepts and how to
approach scientific inquiries.

6th Seek out science resources and mentors:


Utilize books, online resources, scientific journals, and
educational platforms to expand your knowledge of scientific
inquiry.

7th Explore different fields of science: Science encompasses various


disciplines, including physics, chemistry, biology, geology,
astronomy, and more.
