Biography
Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was an American
architectural luminary whose legacy looms large in
the annals of modern architecture. Born in the
heart of Wisconsin, Wright's illustrious career
spanned over seven decades, during which he
revolutionized architectural design. His concept of
organic architecture sought to unite the built
environment with nature, championing open floor
plans, horizontal lines, and a harmonious
relationship with the surroundings. Beyond his
groundbreaking designs, Wright's influence
extended to the philosophy of total design,
incorporating every element from furniture to
fixtures. Despite personal controversies, his
indomitable spirit and lasting influence continue to
inspire architects and designers across the globe,
cementing his place as one of the most iconic
figures in architectural history.
