COORDINATING MECHANISM FOR CEASEFIRE


CCCH (Coordinating Committee on the Cessation of Hostilities) – an inter-agency coordinating
monitoring body composed of GPH and MILF members to ensure that the ceasefire between GPH
and MILF is guaranteed.

COORDINATING MECHANISM FOR POLICING IN MILF AREAS


AHJAG (Ad Hoc Joint Action Group) – an inter-agency coordinating monitoring body composed
of GPH and MILF members coordinate and monitor between and among the AFP, PNP, and MILF
to ensure that law enforcement operations against criminal elements within MILF areas are
effectively conducted without jeopardizing the ceasefire between the GPH and the MILF.

COORDINATING MECHANISM FOR NORMALIZATION (PEACE PROCESS)


JPSC (Joint Peace and Security Committee) – an inter-agency coordinating monitoring body
composed of GPH and MILF members coordinate the security component of the normalization
process (e.g. decommissioning, AFP redeployment, disbandment of private armed groups).
