7 Kevin carried out an experiment to study the effect
of temperature of water on the rate of dissolving of
sugar in water. He then added 100 cm 3 of water at
20 °C to the beaker and stirred the mixture of
water and sugar gently. The time taken for the
sugar to dissolve completely was recorded. He
repeated the experiment with water at 40 °C and
60 °C.
