Introduction
Leadership is the ability of an individual or a group of people to influence and guide
followers or members of an organization, society or team. Leadership often is an
attribute tied to a person's title, seniority or ranking in a hierarchy. A leader is one who
inspires and motivates action having a Can-Do Personality towards achieving a
common goal. In short, leadership is getting things done through others.

1.Autocratic Leadership: In this style, the leader makes decisions unilaterally and has full
control over the team. They provide little room for input or feedback from team members. This
style can be effective in situations where quick, decisive actions are required, such as in a crisis.
2.Democratic Leadership: Democratic leadership, also known as participative leadership.
Democratic leaders involve team members in decision-making processes. They seek input,
feedback, and opinions from the team and make decisions collectively. This style can lead to
higher team satisfaction and creativity.
3.Laissez-Faire Leadership: LAY-zay fair," was originally a French economic term meaning
“Allow to do”. Laissez-faire leaders are hands-off and allow team members a high degree of
autonomy. They trust their team to make decisions and take ownership of their work. This style
is suitable when team members are highly skilled and motivated.
4.Situational Leadership: Situational leaders adapt their style to the specific situation and
needs of their team. They assess the readiness and capabilities of their team members and adjust
their approach accordingly.
5.Bureaucratic Leadership: Bureaucratic leadership can be defined as a
system of management that follows a hierarchy where official duties are fixed.
Employees in this form of leadership are expected to follow specific rules and
authority created by their superiors.

6.Servant Leadership: Servant leaders prioritize the well-being and


development of their team members. They aim to serve the needs of their team
and put the team’s interests above their own. This style fosters a supportive and
nurturing environment.

7.Coaching Leadership: Coaching leaders focus on developing the skills and


potential of their team members. They provide guidance, feedback, and support
to help team members grow and improve.

8.Adaptive Leadership: Adaptive leader are flexible and responsive to


changing circumstances. They adjust their approach to suit the evolving needs
of the organization or team.
9.Transformational leadership
Transformational leaders are change makers

Transformational leaders shows high risk-taking abilities

Transformational leaders are highly innovative

Transformational leaders inspire greater confidence in their followers

10.Transactional leadership

Followers must follow the instructions of their leaders all the time

Goal setting :- Goal setting involves the development of an action plan

10.Bureaucratic Leadership Style:


Formal communication :- Formal communication is the same organization, by following
predefined rules and using official channels of communication.
Written communication :- The Written Communication refers to the process of conveying a
message through the written symbols.
Formality :- formal communication method that everyone involved is part of the same team or
group.
11. Adaptive Leadership Style :-
Empathy :-Adaptive communication is a form of communication tailored for a specific situation
or person.
Coaching :- Coaching is helping someone to unlock their personal potential.
Collaboration :- Collaboration enables individuals to work together to achieve a defined and
common business purpose.

12.Strategic Leadership Style:-


Clear and concise communication :- To be clear, try to minimize the number of ideas in each
sentence.
Visionary Communication.:- This path helps you build your skills as a strategic communicator
Adaptive communication :- it is a form of communication tailored for a specific situation or
person.
