TOPIC : Speaking and listening English - level of students after four years of studying

English language and linguistics


at the University of Economics and Finance
in Ho Chi Minh City, affiliated with the University of Gloucestershire.
Introduction/ Purpose
UEF is one of the universities in Ho Chi Minh City that has a Linguistics and English Language Program
affiliated with the University of Gloucestershire, which equips students with the knowledge, skills and
attitudes necessary to meet the requirements. Working in an English-speaking environment at home and
abroad. However, English majors at UEF still have many limitations in using this language, especially in terms
of students' speaking ability. In my research to find out what students actually do to improve their speaking
ability after 3 and 4 years of study prompted the writer to carry out this study. Research question: 1. How do
you guys improve your listening and speaking English while studying at UEF? 2. How much do they improve
their speaking and listening skills?
