solid proven base foundation with SharePoint server 2016. The main objective
is to get SharePoint online / cloud experience for SharePoint on-premise

replace stsadm.exe -o setapppassword.
• Clear-SPContentDatabaseSyncData and Update-SPProfileSync replace

Modern list column formatting
Now in SP-19 we can customize the column behavior with the help of JSON. This will help the customer to represent
the data with a very minimal efforts.
 Column formatting uses excel level of conditional structure
 MS has provided some default CSS styles

 No direct upgrade from SP-13 to
SP-19, user must upgrade it to SP-
16 and then SP-19
 Must ensure that content
databases are SharePoint 2016
RTM versioned
 Content DB will be in locked state
if it is not with RTM versioned

with classic view will remain same

In SP-19 MS has enhanced the search experience one step further. Some of the major
enhancements:
Users see results as they start typing and the results update as they type (Search as
you type)
The search results page shows an overview of search results, grouped by type and it
will be easy to expand to see all the results of each type, for example people or sites
On a people result, users can click the email address to quickly get started on an email
to that person
