OPENING
PRAYER
† HYMN OF
PRAISE:

“TO GOD BE
THE GLORY”
To God be the glory – great
things God hath done!
So love He the world that He
gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an
atonement for sin
And opened the life gate that
all may go in.
[CHORUS]
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
Let the earth hear His voice
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
let the people rejoice
O come to the Father through
Jesus His Son
And give Him the glory
– great things he hath done
O perfect Redemption the
purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise
of God
The vilest offender who truly
believes
That moment from Jesus a
pardon receives
[CHORUS]
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
Let the earth hear His voice
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
let the people rejoice
O come to the Father through
Jesus His Son
And give Him the glory
– great things he hath done
Great things He hath taught us
Great things He hath done
And great our rejoicing thru Jesus
the Son
But purer and higher and greater
will be
Our wonder, our transport when
Jesus we see
[CHORUS]
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
Let the earth hear His voice
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
let the people rejoice
O come to the Father through
Jesus His Son
And give Him the glory
– great things he hath done
THE ACT OF
CONFESSION
THE CALL TO
CONFESSION
When we don’t know or what to pray, the
Spirit knows. When we stumble commit
mistakes, sighs and groans, the Spirit
knows those also. When we feel that we
aren’t even worthy to approach God, the
Spirit goes before us and with us and God
welcomes us with arms open. Let us
confess our sins together.
Silent moment
of confession:

Assurance of
God’s Pardon;
Response song;
“Search me O God”
I praise You , Oh Lord,
for cleansing me from sin;
fulfill Your word and
make me pure within;
Fill me with fire,
where once I burned in shame;
Grant my desire to magnify your name
Pastoral
Prayer:
Response song;
“ Thanks to God”
Thanks for prayers that thou hast
answered, thanks for what thou dost deny,
Thanks for storms that I have weathered,
thanks for all thou dost supply!
Thanks for pain and thanks for Pleasure,
Thanks for comfort in despair!
Thanks for grace that none can measure,
Thanks for love beyond compare!
