Introduction To Workshop Practice
Workshop: is a basic course given for civil eng.
students which helps to appreciate practical aspects
of their future profession.
The great deal of practical skill for this course is
acquired through practicing in an organized civil
eng. Workshop.
Other skill and knowledge for this course can be also
obtained theoretical learning and site visit about the
course content.
Generally, it is a fundamental course used to capture
practical skill and theoretical knowledge in different
activities.
Principle of Workshop Practice
 All students should have 100% attendance for each lab and field practice.
 All students should actively participate and take their own notes during
field visit and lab practice.
 All students should be punctual interms of attending lab and field
practice.
 Your report writing should include the standards of workshop report
writing format we have given for you.
 Your report should be neat and written by good hand writing.
 you should submit your report as per the order of your Assistance
 The evaluation of your report is based on the performance of your group
member.
 Since there is a presentation during your submission every individual
member of your group should participate in the report.
 During the field and lab practice every student should care about the
safety of field and lab equipments.
