Urban City

 Urban city means a city having a population of not less

than one hundred thousand persons according to the most

recent United States decennial or special census. The area

of each urban city is the boundary of the city as of January

1 of the current calendar year.


What is an Urban Area?

 Urban areas differ from suburban or rural areas

 Cities have many pros and cons that renters will need to

consider

 Urban areas may have more nearby amenities, but could come

with a higher price tag


Urban Area

 An urban area is the region surrounding a city. Most


inhabitants of urban areas have non-agricultural jobs.
Urban areas are very developed, meaning there is a density
of human structures, such as houses, commercial
buildings, roads, bridges, and railways. "Urban area" can
refer to towns, cities, and suburbs.

There are several key characteristics that define an urban area:
