Human rights organizations accuse Israel

infrastructure. These attacks often involve
imprecise weapons such as artillery shells
and aerial bombardments, leading to
widespread destruction in civilian areas.
Examples: • On October 12, 2023, an Israeli
airstrike hit a UN-run school in
Gaza City, killing at least 17
civilians, including nine children.
• Throughout the war, Israeli
attacks destroyed numerous
hospitals, clinics, and ambulances,
severely impacting access to
healthcare for Palestinians.
2- TARGETING
CIVILIANS
Several instances raise serious concerns
about the deliberate targeting of civilians by
Israeli forces. This includes journalists,
medical personnel, and children who are
often caught in the crossfire of combat.
Shireen Abu Akleh: On May 11, 2023, while
covering an Israeli raid in Jenin refugee camp,
Ms. Abu Akleh was shot and killed by Israeli
forces despite wearing a press vest and standing
clearly apart from other individuals. The incident
sparked international outrage and calls for an
independent investigation.

Children
According to UNICEF, over 1,500 children were
killed and injured during the 2023 Gaza War.
These casualties highlight the devastating impact
of the conflict on innocent civilians.

Humanitarian
Israel's restrictions on the movement
of goods and people in the Gaza Strip
and the WestAid:
Bank severely impede
the delivery of humanitarian aid,
hindering access to vital food, medical
supplies, and other essential resources.
The Israeli blockade on Gaza restricts the
import of essential goods, including
construction materials, medical equipment,
and fuel, leading to shortages and hindering
reconstruction efforts.
Movement restrictions within the West Bank
often delay the delivery of humanitarian aid
to vulnerable communities, exacerbating
their already dire humanitarian situation.
