The gross profit margins of the wholesale industry have been increasing and Costco has the third highest increase
following Sam’s club (2nd highest) and BJ’s Club (highest) from 2018 to 2023.
Operating Margins
When it comes to operating margins, there has been a slight decrease in it for the whole industry but Costco has
the minimum decrease of 0.60% from 2018 to 2023.
