4. RETRIEVABLE BRIDGE PLUG
The WLRBP (Wireline Retrievable Bridge Plug) can be set on conventional wireline or
tubing. It has the ability to be released, redressed and then reused.

Features/Benefits-
 Offers a cost effective alternative to conventional bridge plugs.
 Caged bi-directional slips for long life and durability.
 Equalizing port opens before plug is released which can help in
reducing well build up pressure in controlled way.
 It will not release unless equalizing sleeve is shifted.
 Straight pull release.
 Rotational safety release mechanism.
 Retrieving tool will wash up to gauge ring for easy retrieval.
 Packing elements hold pressure from above and below.
 Simple, rig-friendly operation.
 Ensures a secure, retrievable pressure barrier.
 Saves time by eliminating multiple trips.

8. APPLICATIONS
1. Temporary zonal Isolation for selective acidizing, fracturing and
cementing jobs.

2. Zone testing.

3. Casing pressure testing job.

4. Wellhead repair and replacement.

9. DO’s AND DON’Ts
DO’s—
1. If the plug is planned to be kept for a longer duration of time, then a
sand plug should be placed above it to prevent any damage to the top
of bridge plug which may cause difficulty in retrieving.

DON’Ts—
1. Placing cement plug just above the retrievable bridge plug.
2. POP shearing above bridge plug.
