INTRODUCTION
1. 3 TRADITIONAL MALAY DANCES IS AT THE RISK OF LOST.
The traditional dances of the Malays (Zapin), the Chinese (Peking Opera -
Jingju) and the Indians (Karakatam) represent the precious cultural heritage of
each people, dating back centuries.

MALAYSIA
Since sensitivity to new things, university students have the irreplaceable
advantage of being the backbone of the preservation and transmission of

4.0 METHOD OF THE STUDY

- Research method: Qualitative research


through questionnaire survey
- Participants: randomly choose 30 students
from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)
5.0 FINDINGS OF THE STUDY

56.7% of respondents agree that traditional dance helps society understand


various cultures.
