Yesterday:
Let’s

Okay!
The little boy goes to school.
When he gets there, no one is there.
His friend, Amy is missing.
Where is she, he wondered.
The boy looks around the class.
Hesees something!
Amy’s chair is down, and covered in red.
Oh no! Did Amy…!?
BANG!
The door opens.
Amy walks in, rubbing her face.
“Amy! Are you okay?”
“I’m okay.
Someone threw red paint in my eyes, took
my things and ran away!”
“Oh no! Who did it?”
“Idon’t know. They surprised me.”
“What did they take?”
“They took my bag”
“Weneed to look for clues!”
“Where did the bad guy get the paint?”
“Thepaint is on the desk behind me.
Minsu didn’t put it away yesterday.”
He’s our suspect then!
“Can’t be him”, Amy said.
Yesterday he went to China with his
family.
We need to look for more clues then.
They look around the class and don’t see
anything.
They look out into the hall.
The hall is empty
Then they went outside and see
something strange.
There is an umbrella on the
school stairs.
Isthis umbrella yours?
Yes, it’s mine.
There are shoes on the ground.
Are those shoes yours?
Yes, they’re mine.
There are socks on the rocks.
Are those socks yours?
Yes, they’re mine.
“Why is this person throwing out the
things from your bag?”
“I don’t know,” Amy said.
They see a banana peel on the ground.
“Where did this peel come from?”
“I brought some bananas to share with
class,” Amy said.
The thief doesn’t like umbrellas, shoe or
socks, but they do like bananas…
Who could it be?
They follow a trail of banana peels to the
playground.
Who stole the bag?
A monkey took the banana!
