Aim of this presentation is to give you a general safety guideline


for workplace and to put forward recommendations for future
improvement

Basic Duties (Exercise)

• Safety is a state of being protected from potential harm or something


that has been designed to protect and prevent harm

What is safety simple words?

Safety is a state in which hazards and conditions leading to physical,


psychological or material harm are controlled in order to preserve the
health and well-being of individuals and the community.

What safety means to you?

“Safety means being aware of my surroundings no matter what


environment I'm in so I can catch potential problems before they
become injuries. Constant vigilance is necessary in order to have and to
cultivate a safe culture in the workplace and at home where safety is
second nature for everyone.”

A safe work environment is about more than just preventing injuries or


the spread of disease, it is about making employee well-being a
priority. A safe workplace is one where employees feel secure and
enjoy a safe space, company values, and a positive co-working
environment that encourages respect for everyone
