First findings from DocuCam at Rambura on new landslides happened during night from 2nd to 3rd May 2023
Landslides and floods in Rwanda on the 2nd and 3rd May 2023, Rwanda was devastated by landslides and floods. This
catastrophic condition happed in Northern, Western, and Southern provinces of Rwanda According to Rwanda Meteorology
Agency, the rainy season is expected to be still heavy in the coming days.
According to the new times Rwanda (The New Times), around 130
deaths have been recorded country wide.
A lot of home, schools, streets, and other infrastructures have been
destroyed.
Among them there are 13 schools with 7 of them in Nyabihu district
