 INTRODUCTION
A Expense Tracker System is a tool designed to monitor an organization's income and
expenses on a day-to-day basis. It helps manage overall expenses and income, and is
beneficial for businesses to utilize expense management software for processing, paying, and
auditing employee-initiated expenses. Expense tracking offers several benefits for both
individuals and businesses, including identifying unnecessary expenses, promoting better
financial planning and budgeting, and enabling easy monitoring of expenses. The frequency
at which expenses should be tracked depends on personal preference and the
nature/complexity of the business. An online expense management software helps streamline
expense reporting, processing, and reimbursing through automation, saving time and effort,
and reducing the chances of human error.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
• This project aims to create an expense tracking system
that offers a comprehensive solution for individuals and
businesses, enhancing financial control and decision-
making. The system will provide real-time tracking,
detailed reporting, and user-friendly interfaces to
empower users with effective budget management and
financial awareness.
 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
Expense management software automates expense reporting, processing, and reimbursement,
1 streamlining the entire process while saving time and effort. It allows users to attach receipts and
input transaction details seamlessly, ensuring accurate categorization of expenses for better
financial planning and budgeting.
The system offers real-time expense tracking through a dynamic dashboard, providing
2 notifications when approaching or exceeding budget limits. It also includes data
visualization tools for an intuitive overview of the user's financial situation, promoting better
financial management.
The system ensures the security and privacy of financial data by implementing advanced
3 encryption protocols, access controls, and regular security audits. Compliance with relevant

SCOPE
The Expense Tracker System is designed to track income
