TRAINING UP THE CHILD

For bodily exercise profiteth

little: but godliness is
profitable unto all things,
having promise of the life
that now is, and of that
which is to come.
1Timothy 4:8
HOW CAN WE TRAIN THEM?
•Lead by example and Show them critical
thinking skills
•Pray with them
•Share your faith with them through
scripture
•Teach them how to love by loving them
unconditionally
•Help them serve others
•Allow them to have their own faith
LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND
SHOW THEM CRITICAL
THINKING SKILLS
Your children will learn what
you model for them.

ay nagiging
tama kung ito
ay ginagawa ng
”Matanda”
BAD EXAMPLES
PRAY WITH THEM
STUDY WITH THEM
SHARE YOUR FAITH AND EQUIP
THEM WITH THE WORD OF GOD
TEACH THEM HOW TO LOVE BY
LOVING THEM UNCONDITIONALLY
It is loving your child with no strings
attached. There is nothing they can do
to lose your love. This doesn’t mean you
do not discipline your child, but it does
mean you do not withhold your love
because of something they did or said.
HELP THEM SERVE OTHERS
•Matthew 5:42 - “Give to those who
ask of you, and do not turn away
from him who wants to borrow from
you.” We are also called to care for
the poor, sick, and needy, not sit at
home away from the masses.
GIVING TO THE POOR

PROVIDING FOOD FOR

THE NEEDY
ALLOW THEM TO HAVE THEIR OWN
FAITH
If you want your children to
have a strong faith in God,
you have to let them grow
it themselves.
HEALING THE SICK
Ephesians 6:1-3 KJV
Children, obey your parents in
the Lord: for this is right. Honour
thy father and mother; which is
the first commandment with
promise; that it may be well with
thee, and thou mayest live long
on the earth.
