My research analyses inner-city mixed-use streets at all hours. Urban regeneration in dense urban areas near transport hubs are highly complex settings for balancing link and place characteristic of streets, and for creating sustainable places, to be purposeful for all seasons and all hours. Case studies Bahnhofsviertel (station district) in Frankfurt am Main with Kings Cross station district in London. Analysis of street design processes and participation of diverse actors through action / field research and modelling
