Introduction to Module
Welcome to Business Decision Making for Management.
The aim of the module is to provide students with an applied understanding of business decision-
making and comprises two key threads:
A ‘context’ thread: delivered each week by a team from the College of Business and Law (CBL), through
a one-hour weekly tutorial that examines the nature of business decision-making.
A ‘Statistics’ thread: delivered each week by a team from the College of Arts, Technology and
Environment through a one-hour asynchronous online pre-recorded lecture, together with a supporting
one-hour confirmatory lectorial, plus a one-hour computer-based workshop.
