How to set your USB drive as read-only? Use command prompt. Type the following
commands (Windows 10/11):
diskpart
list disk (confirm disk ## you want to set as read-only)
select disk # (# is number of the disk you want to set as read-only)
attribute disk set readonly (to set as readonly)
