SIMPLE ICT PROJECTS THAT COULD PROMOTE WELLNESS FOR THE SOCIETY • Video Blog – A form of blog in which the medium used is video – Considered a form of Web television – Usually consists of an embedded video which has supporting images, texts, and other metadata • Presentation – A process of being able to present a specified topic in front of an audience – Would usually contain a lecture, speech, or demonstration meant to persuade, inform, or build good will • Image Gallery – Similar to a presentation but would mostly consist of pictures which are relevant to the topic and that would be discussed, and should be easily understood by the audience even before discussing it in depth. • Website – The best way to spread information since it is accessible by almost anyone, almost everywhere – Can be viewed by anyone that has Internet access and can be easily spread around by simply sharing the URL: to the website – It could contain one or more metadata • Illustrated Document – Basically a document (whether an information sheet or leaflet) which would contain illustrations, such as pictures, or visual reports (graphs), related to the topic being discussed in the document • Podcasts or Webcasts – Series of digital media files, usually an audio or video, which would be made available for download via Web syndications, which has a different aspect of delivery from direct download or streaming. • Web syndications would require special software applications known as pod catchers that would automatically identify and retrieve new files associated with the podcast once it is made available. • The podcast or webcast files could be easily stored on the user’s computer or other devices for offline use.
