 KOMPETENSI DASAR
3.1 Menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks
interaksi interpersonal lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan
menyatakan harapan, doa, dan ucapan selamat atas suatu kebahagiaan
dan prestasi, serta menanggapinya, sesuai dengan konteks
penggunaannya.

4.1 Menyusun teks interaksi interpersonal lisan dan tulis sangat pendek dan
sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan menyatakan harapan, doa, dan
ucapan selamat atas suatu kebahagiaan dan prestasi, dan
menanggapinya, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan
unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks.

Wish
Hope / wish adalah ungkapan / ucapan seseorang yang
menunjukkan doa, harapan, dan keinginan terhadap
orang lain supaya lebih baik dan terkabul cita-cita /
harapannya.
 Hope vs Wish
Hope
Hope expresses a desire for a future change and it is
possible to happen.
Hope digunakan untuk mengungkapkan harapan yang
mungkin terjadi.

Wish
Wish expresses a desire for something that is different
from the present reality, or it is highly impossible to
happen.
Wish digunakan untuk mengungkapkan harapan yang
tidak realistis atau tidak mungkin terjadi di masa
sekarang maupun masa yang akan datang.
 Example
● Hope
I hope I can get 100 for my exam next week.
(It is possible that you can get 100 for your exam if you
study hard).

● Wish
I wish I could fly.
(It is impossible, because you are not a bird).

kepada seseorang atas prestasi dan kebahagiaan yang
diraih.
