    THE PROTECTION OF CHILD


    FROM SEXUAL ABUSES
    This act was passed in 2012 to comprehensively deal with the issue of sexual
    offences against children. POSCO not only spells out the punishments for
    offences, but also sets out a system for support of victims and improved
    methods foe catching offenders.

    Under POSCO ‘child’ means any child below the age of 18. The child could
    be male or Female. POSCO is thus a gender neutral law
