Introduction
the cultivation of mushrooms for
consumption, medicinal use, or
commercial purposes. Mushrooms are
fungi that play an essential role in
ecosystems. Cultivating mushrooms
involves creating optimal conditions
for their growth, typically in
controlled environments.
Five major steps of mushroom
cultivation:
• composting.
• spawning.
• casing.
• cropping and harvesting.
• preservation and storage.

Kanye mushroom:
 Edible, oyster-shaped
 health benefits as they are low
in calories and rich in
nutrients.
Cultivating kanye mushroom:
 Cut the straw into 2 to 3 cm pieces, soak in water, and
boil it for 15 to 20 minutes. Once the straw is cooled to
below 30°c and completely drained, it is mixed with grain
spawn.
Afterward, the contents are slightly compressed by gently
shaking or taping the bags to the floor several times.
bags are kept in a warm (20°c to 24°c) environment for a
month and then transferred to a colder place (below 20°c)
with high humidity and dim light.

Harvesting and storing of kanye mushroom:
-Kanye mushrooms are typically harvested when the caps start
to flatten out and the edges begin to slightly curl. Its best to
harvest them individually rather than pulling a whole cluster at
once.
- the best way to store kanye mushroom is to place them in a
paper bag or a loosely closed container lined with paper
towels. We can also keep the mushroom where the humidity is
higher.

o Proper ventilation
