Nocturnal Animals

There are so many fascinating nocturnal animals to choose from, but I'll tell you about the one and only barn owl. These majestic creatures are
perfectly adapted for hunting in the dark. They have incredible vision, able to see even in the faintest moonlight. Their large, heart-shaped faces are
covered in tiny feathers that act like sound funnels, helping them pinpoint the slightest rustle of a rodent's movement.

Barn owls are silent hunters, gliding through the night on long, soft wings that make almost no sound. They can even rotate their heads almost all
the way around, giving them an almost 360-degree view of their surroundings. When they spot prey, they swoop down with lightning speed, their
sharp talons snatching unsuspecting mice, voles, and other small animals.

Barn owls are not only fascinating predators, but also beautiful birds. Their soft, golden feathers are speckled with brown and white, and their
large, dark eyes give them a wise and knowing look. They are often seen as symbols of good luck and wisdom in many cultures, and their haunting
calls add to the mystery of the night.

They can eat up to 1,000 mice a year!
