social, and economic growth of the area, which is reflected
through a development plan, in order to develop sustainable agri-
farm tourism in San Jose.

Developed economies viewed tourism as a response to


employment and livelihood gaps in rural areas (Sharpley and
Vass, 2020). Furthermore, according to (Fisher, 2019; Garrod,
2019) Due to the widespread impact of agriculture, in many
countries, tourism is currently the focus of farm diversification .

HYPOTHESIS
Agripreneurs in San Jose Tarlac who engage in farm tourism will
see it as an avenue for promoting growth, encouraging
community participation and preserving their agricultural
heritage. Additionally, the researchers visualize that the
agripreneurs of San Jose Tarlac
DEFINITION OF TERMS
Agripreneurs They are commonly referred to as entrepreneurs. They are the
people or groups involved in creative and entrepreneurial
endeavors within the field of agriculture.
Agritourism It combines elements of agriculture, tourism, and hospitality to
provide visitors with an educational and recreational experience
related to farming and rural life.
Farmers are people or groups of individuals who participate in activities,
like growing crops and raising animals with the goal of producing
food, fiber and other agricultural goods.
Economic Factor This factor refers to the various elements and conditions within the
economic environment that can impact the success, growth and
overall performance of agripreneurial ventures.
Environmental Factor These environmental factors can play a significant role in shaping
the attitudes, decisions, and behaviors of agripreneurs.
Perception of Agripreneurs This perception is influenced by a range of factors, including
personal experiences, knowledge, attitudes, and the external
environment in which they operate.
Socio-Cultural Factor These factors are an integral part of the broader
environment in which agripreneurs operate and can
significantly shape their attitudes, values, and
decision-making processes.

Sustainable- Sustainability refers to the ability to maintain or


sustain activities without causing harm to the
environment, society or economy.

attractions and immersing oneself in cultures and

provide enough data to support their study.
