Preliminary evidence from Colorado and Washington shows that commercial legalization
has significantly reduced perceived harms and disapproval of marijuana use (Kosterman et
al. 2016, Sobesky & Gorgens 2016), and marijuana-related arrests have plummeted
(Gettman 2015a,b).

other problems with health as well.
For example, overdose or withdrawal.
For exclude it government can legalize
the marijuana and control the market
of selling.
• Taking care about prisoners in jail
became expensive for the government.
Legalization of marijuana gives
opportunity to reduce number of
prisoners and take taxes from sales.

THESIS STATEMENT

Legalizing marijuana helped the government control selling and buying due to checking the volume
which people need every day and age of people who are interested.
BENEFITS OF LEGALIZATION

• If the government controls the

market, they can clearly monitor
who sells marijuana and how
much of it they have. This is
great information for the
government of a country.
• Other reason is when
government allow the marijuana
it will help unloading the
judicial system.

As overall the trend it can be clearly seen
that the amount of people increase with the
time. For 50 years it has changed for
almost 5 times.
Interesting to note that the mark in 1977
was the same as in 1997. The smallest
index was in 1970 about 12 percent. From
1985 to 1995 the number was stable at 23
percent and went up in 1996 for two
percent more. The biggest rate was in 2020
68 percent.

Other people might think that legalization of marijuana

can be dangerous for society.
There are a few reasons:
• Give for people new chances for try and apply
marijuana in everyday life. With restriction some
people have no opportunity to bay marijuana.
• Increasing the amount of incidents of overdosing.
Individuals will have value, how much they want.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, information about purchase and value by people of different age can help the
government to control the situation after legalizing the marijuana. It can be estimated that the use of
marijuana will be more and more significant for people everyday, decrease the level of crime in the
country and increase the population.
