A story about ‘perfect’ and ‘imperfect’

1
He missed a piece,
And he was so sad about it

2
He started his journey to find his missing piece

3
He went on his journey and sang:
Ooh, I am finding my missing piece.
I am finding my missing piece.
A haha, sett off now
To find my missing piece.

4
Sometimes, he had to suffer the burning heat of the sun

5
And then cool rain came to comfort him

6
Sometimes the cold snow froze him.
And then the sun appeared and warmed him up.

7
And maybe because he missed a piece, he could not roll fast
So he stopped to talk with Uncle Worm sometimes

8
Or smelled the fragrance of Flower

9
Sometimes he passed Bug

10
And sometimes, he let Bug pass him

11
Sometimes, he had funs. It’s the time like this.........

12
He went on, went on, passing the big sea
“Ooh, I am finding a missing piece,
I am passing all the lands and the seas,
I don’t care how far I must go
I am finding my missing piece”

13
And he passed deep swamps and old forests

14
Climbed uphill

15
Fell downhill

16
And one day, look!
“I have found a missing piece.”
He cried happily
“I have found a missing piece,
I didn’t care how far I must have gone
And I have found..........”

“Wait” The small piece said

“Don’t hurry to sing that you have found.....”

17
“I am not your missing piece.
I am a missing piece of nobody.
I am a piece of my own
Even if I was the missing piece of someone,
I believe that I would not be yours.”

18
Ah, he said sadly
“Sorry for disturbing you”
And he went on

19
He saw another piece

20
But it was too small

21
The other was too big

22
This one was too acute

23
That one was too square

24
One day, he met a piece which matched him so well…..but because he did not keep it carefully

25
It fell apart

26
In other day, he kept the piece so tight

27
that it was shattered

28
29
He went on his journey

30
And encountered many dangers

31
Such as falling down the abyss

32
Hitting his head to the stone wall

33
After all, one nice day, he met a small piece
It seemed really match

34
“Halo” he greeted.
“Halo” the piece greeted.
“Are you the missing piece of anyone?”
“No”
“Are you the piece of your own?”

“I may be the missing piece of somebody,

Or I may be the piece of my onw.”
“You don’t want to be my missing piece, do you?”
“Not really that.”
“Then we may not match.....”
“Don’t say so..........”

35
“How do you think?”
“Wonderful”

36
Match totally!
Match so well!
Aah, finally I have found! I have found!

37
He moved ahead,
And because he did not miss a piece, he rolled faster and faster
He had never rolled that fast before

Too fast to stop,

To speak to Uncle Worm

38
Or smell the fragrance of Flower

39
The butterfly could not land on him

40
And he could not sing his song again.
He could only sing:
“I found my missing piece....”

41
And he continued to sing:
“Ooh, aah aah ooh ooh uuh uuh,
aah aah ooh ooh uuh uuh,
uuh uuh aah aah ooh ooh
Oh godness
He missed nothing,
But why he could not sing.

42
“I see” He thought “there must be a reason”
And he stopped.

43
And gentlly released the piece.

44
And went on leisurely

45
He went on, singing his song

46
“Ooh, I am finding my missing piece.
I am finding my missing piece.
Ahaha, sett off now
To find my missing piece..”
