 INTRODUCTION
Christiana loves caps until she saw a more
beautiful hat, “what a beautiful hat!”, she
exclaimed.
Christiana took the hat home and found out more
about the hat that made it enchanted

 CHAPTER ONE
“Mum, it is Christmas”, reminded
Christiana packaging some presents,
“But is just tomorrow”, corrected mom, “today is
Christmas eve”, she said as she watches Christiana
package the presents.
Christiana remembered her last Christmas, she got a dog
whom she named ‘Bella’ as a presents, she was
expecting a good and marvelous gift this year Christmas.
“Mum”, she called, “are we going for shopping
tomorrow?” she asked willingly as her eyes widen,

Christian smile widened as if she already knows her mom
reply,
“Ok”, mom answered, “first, you have to finish with your
presents packaging before asking anymore questions”,
concluded mom,
“Ok mom”, she responded.
Immediately Christiana finished with packaging the gifts,
she jumped up and smiled, “yes!”, she exclaimed.
Her mom, and brother looked at her, just then, her dad
entered into the house and met her dancing for joy, “what
happened?”, her dad asked,
“I asked mom if we can go shopping tomorrow”, she
explained, “mom agreed that we will all go”, she answered
smiling,

Her father laughed so as the family as they resumed to
what they were doing before
Bella ran to Christiana barking, Bella pulled Christiana
gown wanting to show Christiana something, when
Christiana saw it, “it just a squeaky ball on the roof”,
she said, “I will help you get it down for you”, she
helped,
She helped Bella bring down the squeaky ball on the
roof with along stick she finds in the balcony.
Bella was happy and began to play with squeaky ball,
while Christiana continued with what she was about
doing, she was preparing for Christmas the next day,
“Christmas is coming!”, she exclaimed

The next day, Christiana was the first to wake up, she went out of
her room and woke everyone up

“Merry Christmas”, she greeted them
Her parents and her elder brother were too weak to listen
or to even reply her since she woke them up from their
sleep.
She went into the kitchen to prepare cookies for the family,
she remember how her mom taught her to make them.
When the family were eating the breakfast, she used the
opportunity to bath and wear one of her lucky clothes, she
made sure that she ate from the cookies
“This meal is delicious!”, her brother, James
complimented her cookies
“you are right!” mom agreed with James “I really did a
great job by teaching her well”

Just as they were almost done with the cookies, she came
into the dining room where her family sat to eat the cookies

 CHAPTER TWO
The whole family were surprised to see that the
clothes she is on,

“You indeed wore one of your lucky clothes, good of you!”,

dad complimented her, “but why

did you put on the dress today”, dad asked
“Have you all forgotten?”, she asked, “It really seems that
all of you have forgotten”, she asked again,
They all nodded their heads, “Yes!”, they answered
“Today is Christmas”, she reminded them hoping this time,
“Oh! My God, I almost forgot”, mom said as they entered
their rooms to put on their best clothing's,
As soon as they came out of their rooms they greeted each
other, “HAPPY CHRISTMAS” “Merry Christmas!”
James came up with an idea, “we should do female and
male shopping”,
“what do you mean?”, asked mom,

“what I mean is, dad and I can go for shopping that’s
male shopping and Christiana and mom can go for
shopping and that’s female shopping”, he explained, “do
you understand?”, he asked,
“Yes”, they echoed agreeing with what James suggested,
“let’s go”, mom said to Christiana
On their way Christiana was looking for what to buy in
the busy shopping mart, she saw something that caught
her attention outside the shop
Christiana wanted to see what was that, so she took
permission from her mother, when she got outside of the
shop, she saw a hat. To her surprise, the hat was glowing,
“how can a hat be glowing?” she wondered.

Then the glowing hat stopped glowing, Christiana was
surprised that no one noticed it glowing and it was as if the
hat was being abandoned by the owner, they were all
minding their business, “who owns this hat?”, she thought

She asked around for the owner but everyone says the same
thing “it was abandoned”, she decided showed her mom
and her mom told her that she can keep it but she will have
to wash it first.

After Christmas, which was December 26th, it was boxing
day. Christiana’s family and Christiana went to the beach.
She took the hat along with her.
She got home and looked at the hat hoping it will glow like
earlier when she was using it
Almost immediately, the hat glowed and she saw a
beautiful doll in front of her, then the hat stopped glowing.
She became shocked seeing that the doll came from
nowhere.
She went to the dining room to tell her mother what she
experienced, her mom couldn’t believe what Christiana had
said,
Christiana went back to her room looking at the hat
suspiciously “hey!” she heard the hat say

Christiana became shocked and scared at the same time
“You talk?” she asked the hat looking at it closely
“Yes, I can!” she again heard the hat say

 CHAPTER THREE
She was confused and scared at the same time
but since she reads a lot of Disney books she believe it
can be true
“Are you from Disney?”, she asked with so much
expectance,
“No! very funny!” the hat said
“Thanks for the doll!” she appreciated
“You are welcome!” the hat says glowing again
Dad told the family that, it is time to go to the beach as
he looked for the car keys and didn’t find it

He entered Christiana’s room and asked her, “do you help
me see my car keys?” he asked Christiana,
“No”, Christiana answered, “I haven’t seen them”, she
added,
“How I just wish that I remember where I kept my car
keys!”, he wished
The hat glowed
“Yes, yes”, he said feeling excited as he remembered it
almost immediately, “I can now remember where I left
them”
Christiana saw this and turned to the hat, “Wow, were you
the one that did that?” she said pointing at where her dad
stood before leaving to get his car keys,
“Yes, I was the one that made him remember

where he kept it
“So, if you glow like that, that means you answer wishes,
right?” Christiana asked
“Yes, that is right!” the hat said glowing again
Later in the day, the family prepared for the trip to the beach
and Christiana took the hat along.
They all entered the car and on their way, they go!

When they arrived at the beach, Christiana and James
made their way to the water, while mom and dad made
shade on the sandy soil.
Christiana sat down and watched James playing in the
water. Dad was reading the newspaper and mom was
playing with Bella.
Two girls whom names are, Julia and Rose came
towards her, “wow, you came”, Christiana said,
“Yes”, Rose said,
“I love your hat!”, Julia exclaimed,
“As you’re looking at this hat”, she started, “it’s
magical!”, she informed,
Christiana told them everything, how she got the

hat and how she knew about the hat’s magic,
“Incredible!”, the two girls exclaimed as they heard what
Christiana said,
James became tired and watched as the boys of his age were
playing with their water ball
“I wish I have a water ball too!” he opted
He noticed something glowing towards Christiana's side and
went towards her,
“Cool”, he exclaimed as he saw Christiana with a water ball,
“who gave you that?” he asked surprised because he knew
Christiana never had one,
“no-one”, she answered, “I think someone wished for it and
my magical hat gave brought the wish to life”, she explained,
“Yeah, it was me!” he said and collected the ball

from Christiana, “your hat did that?” he asked surprised
“Yes, it was the hat” she answered,
“uh?”, he asked,
“the hat is an enchanted hat”, she explained,
“what is the meaning of enchanted”, he asked,
“Enchanted is a magical, mysterious, charmed thing”, she
answered, “so it was the one that made your wish come to
pass”, she explained,
“Wow, so if I ask that I want anything it would give it to
me?”, he asked,
“Yes, but not for bad things”, she said laughing.
James left her to play with his magical water ball, then
Christiana put the hat on her head happy that people are
starting to believe that the hat is magical

 Her father needed some coconut
drink and when Christiana got to her father,
“Have you seen James?”, he asked,
“Yes”, she answered, “he is playing with
his water ball”
“Okay”, he said, “do you know how I
wished that I have three coconut drink”,
he said smiling as if just joking,
Suddenly the hat glowed and gave
him what he wished for as the three
coconut drink dropped on his lap
“What!”, he exclaimed surprisingly,
Christiana told him everything that she

told James to him, he believed her and her dad told her
mom and she also believed him.
Christiana and her family later left for their home,
When Christiana got home, her hat glowed and it said,
“I am really glowing and I don’t know what is
happening to me”,
“Oh my Goodness!”, she exclaimed,
“it had never happened before”, the hat said,
Then the hat flew out of the house, Christiana followed
it out of the house as the hat flew to the air,
“Goodbye!”, the hat said as the hat levitated in the air,
So sad for Christiana to watch it go,

As the hat went away, Christiana entered the

house, into her room, sat on her bed feeling sad that the only
thing that she depended on left her.
Dad entered her room and he asked “where is the hat?”, as if
wanting to see the hat,
“It has gone”, Christiana answered, “it’s so sad!”, she
exclaimed,
“Sorry”, he consoled, “I would help you look for it”, he
assisted,
“no need”, she shaking her head, “it flew away”, she
explained,
“so sad for me too!”, he exclaimed.
Some days of feeling sad that the hat left her without
warning, Christiana came out of her

house playing on the swing to ease herself from the pain
she was having
Just then the hat came landing on her lap “I am back!”
says the hat
She became very happy and held the hat so tightly
“No worries, I won’t leave without telling you again”
says the hat
