The Anointing-the indwelling presence of the
Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. It enables the
believer to understand, apply, and administer
spiritual truth. Simply put, the presence of The
Anointing, enables believers to have a spiritual
connection.
Enlargement-To enlarge is to make
bigger, to expand, extend, grow, to
increase, to build up, magnify, to
deepen and to heighten, to stretch
beyond limits.
Isaiah 10:27
“And it shall come to pass in that day,
that his burden shall be taken away from
off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off
thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed
because of the anointing.”
Why do we need
enlargement?
The Great Commission
Mathew 28:16-20
16
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where
Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped
17

him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All
18

authority in heaven and on earth has been given to

me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
19

them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded
20

you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Zechariah 4:6
6
So he said to me, “This is the word of
the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor
by power, but by my Spirit,’ says
the LORD Almighty.

yearning for God, His kingdom and
His righteousness
Matthew 6:33

righteousness, and all these things
will be given to you as well.

overwhelmed by personal interests

 They are people who mourn when there is

prevalence of wickedness in the land.

1 Samuel 10:1-6
Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying, “Has not the
Lord anointed you ruler over his inheritance?[a] 2 When you leave me today, you will meet two men
near Rachel’s tomb, at Zelzah on the border of Benjamin. They will say to you, ‘The donkeys you set out
to look for have been found. And now your father has stopped thinking about them and is worried about
you. He is asking, “What shall I do about my son?”’

3 “Then you will go on from there until you reach the great tree of Tabor. Three men going up to
worship God at Bethel will meet you there. One will be carrying three young goats, another three loaves
of bread, and another a skin of wine. 4 They will greet you and offer you two loaves of bread, which you
will accept from them.

5 “After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the
town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbrels,
pipes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying. 6 The Spirit of the Lord will
come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different
person.
Saul was anointed by Prophet
Samuel. That anointing radically
changed his destiny. It gave him a
Divine Enlargement that nobody
before him had ever experienced.
When God anointed David with oil, he
moved from the wilderness to the palace
(territorial
enlargement) and he began to swim in
overflowing blessings.
Psalm 23:5
You prepare a table before me in the
presence of my enemies. You anoint
my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Luke 4:18-20
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he
has anointed me to proclaim good news to
the poor. He has sent me to proclaim
freedom for the prisoners and recovery of
sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Conclusion

Psalm 90:17
“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon
us, and establish the work of our hands upon
us; yes, establish the work of our hands!”
