Refurbishment Process
Refurbishment is a process that is required when a defective equipment / material
needs to be repaired.
The process covers the replacement of the defective item, the repair process as well as
the inventory management process.

Equipment / Material Refurbishment flow – for refurbishment of equipment condition


Based Valuation is activated. The damaged equipment is dismantled and replaced with
repaired /new equipment. The defective equipment is then transferred to the sub store
to start the repair process. Equipment can be repaired internally by ERS department.

A refurbishment order is created to capture the details of manpower and spares used in
the repair process. Tracking of valuation and location of the equipment / material is
enabled by using inventory management
