WATER ROCKETS
● Water rockets are a type of rocket
that use water and compressed air
as their propellant.

• are often used for educational

purposes, science experiments, or as
a fun and hands-on activity.

• They demonstrate principles of

physics
HOW IS PASCAL’S PRINCIPLE
TS RELATED TO WATER ROCKETS?
It is related to water rockets through the
transmission of pressure within the enclosed fluid
inside the rocket. The pressurized fluid's ability to
transmit force equally in all directions allows for
the generation of thrust and the subsequent launch
of the water rocket.

How do we launch the rocket?
● Fill about 1/3 to 1/2 of
the bottle with water.
● Position the rocket on the
launcher.
● Use a bicycle pump to
pressurize the air inside
the bottle.
